Ignorance can sometimes be a mistake...

Yesterday, I went with my aunt to church, doing the ussual family thingy on behalf of my parents who are abroad.

I was in a real rush that evening so I hoped that church would be fast and the Australian priest will be saying mass. He clocks a good 50 mins for a mass! Turned out it was another priest, this old but full of wisdom guy. Lots to talk. I was in a rush for time.

So I thought hear he goes at his homily. I just took a deep breath and kept an open-mind.

He was referring to one of our parishners who may have made a big mistake in life. So as ussual, gossip of this person had gone around the church a week ago. Peoples opinion were mixed; some offered to help, some said she deserved to be punished!

What I learnt was, this sh*t could have happen to anyone. Would someone be there to help you the next time you are in a problem? The problems we face in our lives vary depending on the complexity and severity.

Think about it. We are all not perfect here in this world. There may be a point-in-time where we need support. Offer your help to a friend in need. Maybe someday it will be vice-versa.

The second lesson I learnt; listen to the priest during mass! Haha!
