What a day to begin a Saturday...

I had barely 3 hours of sleep and woke up to online. Headed down to table for coffee with my mum. Mum was catching up with me on what's been happening lately and where I went last night bla bla bla.

Suddenly out of no where, she hands me my old love letter which I thought I threw away loooooooooong time ago in KL. I was speechless and left the table. I seriously did not know what to say but it was an awkward situation. She said it was ok but I know what she was thinking.

I could not know how to explain to her or how the freaking letter got mixed with her papers / photos.

It was years back but I really don't wanna talk about the content of that particular letter.
I am cool with the past but somethings should just have remained untold forever.
It's the moment of life when it happenned and you just do not wanna go back there again.

TGIF 0n 2nd Day Deepavali

It was a Friday that I felt like leaving early to avoid the unforgivable jams that ussually happen on a Friday after work.

I left around 2.30pm and headed to Kapitan Keling for nasi kandar. Had the ussual chicken and fish egg.

Went home later and slept. Seriously knocked out. Woke-up to the call of Daryl who ask me go with him to "punch- card" @ makan at ussual hang-out place. I was in a daze. I told him I will fetch him later and go to work together to punch-card. I felt like I had awaken to a Saturday morning and it was time to go to work. It was actually still Friday around 6.30 pm and Daryl had invited me for the ussual pork spare-parts soup in town. He was laughing on the phone as he knew I was really blur and told me to call him later. Jeez man. I was so blur when he called. Haha!

Viran (ex-St Xavier ) called me and told me wanted to meet up at night after dinner. Made a few calls and managed to round up a couple of the boys for beer at Torch. It had been ages since I last went to Torch. We had a good solid 2 buckets!

It was nice catching up with all and reminiscing on the past and talking about the plans for the future. We still cannot imagine who Gary went out with back then those days... Hahha! Hot chick from CGL back then. Well mostly the memories and the things that we found to be important to us at that time were rekindered.

Gary then suggested go to Tari Cafe for supper around 2 am. Surprisingly it was not cheap. Burger ayam special cost RM 5.50 which was kinda expensive. Gary said the prices have risen since he last went.

Everyone was feeling high or am I speaking for myself??? Haha! Yeah I am high right now but took the trouble to key this down as it was a milestone in this years social gatherings.

Nice catching up with old friends and talking about the history that led us to who we are today.

God bless St Xaviers!

P.S. I still think the teachers and principal suck big time!

Tuesday 6/11/2007 runaway from office plan...

Working has been hectic ever since I started working at Dell. Just can't wait for the dawn of a Friday; the last day of the working day. Reaching Wednesday would be fun as it would be mid-week and of course a time to have a beer. Haha!

However, the eve of Wednesday this week, Tuesday, duhhhh... Ruby had organized for a get together with me and Alex. We have been old friends for quite some time now but never had the opportunity to hang-out together. Btw, all from Dell. I guess our lives started with Dell. Hehe! Kak Suzie was suppose to join tapi maklumlah kakak sibuk dgn tugasan2 back-end dier... Tugasan2 back-end sounds a bit speculative but it is clean Dell work related tasks. Haha!

Anyhow, we planned to watch this vampire movie. God, I am so bad with names and too malas to go Google it. I sincerely thought it would be another round of epic horror with me hiding in my t-shirt like Ju-On but the movie was partially horrific and action packed just as Alex mentioned prior to watching.

Then Rubz wanted go shopping so Alex and I stood my the balcony in front of the shops chatting about life, family, work and cars!!!

Alex suggested pizza which I didnt really mind as it has been a while. Rubz mentioned that he has been talking about eating pizza for weeks and he was really hoping that all of us would agree with him.

Went to Pizza Hut and Alex was busy ordering and we were like nodding with whatever he ordered. The food was great and the choice of pizza was good. We had a great time.

Also, Alex thought us Monster House, I think that was the name of the arcade game. Basically, the goal is simple that is too shoot the zombies as much as we can. Alex was the champion as predicted and you should see the dude shooting two guns at a time one in each hand.

It was a great time as it has been a while since went out of the house to do something so cool!

Sorry I had to censor the jokes and hillarious events that happen during this outing due to viewer discretion. But if you heard it you would wish you were with us! Haha!

The end of October...

Work has been interesting with the ultimate goal to hit 90% customer satisfaction for end of this year. I am proud to be a member of the new ANZ Deliveries team. This is not easy to achieve but I can certainly see the team spirit and the undying effort to make the best of it. Way to go team! No use in being negative and moving forward look at how we can positively turn our efforts into results!

With the busyness of work, nothing much done lately. Just hanging out at Old town, Coffee Bean and Starbucks to chill!

It was great meeting up with Joni and Carie at McD GreenLane on Friday night. Can see everyone is happy though we all not working together. It was good catching up with Joni after so long. Vote for her in One-In-A-Million! A lot of new things to talk about including the topic of Trevor's love life! :P Jeezz... So kay po! But I know ppl care for me.... Thanks! Muakz!

Took leave for Friday to go for Douglas(my nepwhew) first birthday. It has been ages since I met up with my bro in KL. Going down with dad in the Myvi. Just chill and hang as it has been a while. When I moved to Penang, I pictured myself going back to KL often but seems like hanging out more in Penang. Well Trev in the end what does Penang have to offer you??? Sigh...

Ok enough of feeling emo as it's Sunday night and tommorrows work...

Christmas is coming up so starting to think of presents.

All I want for Christmas is a tool set including wranch! Hahah! I really hope can get this from parents!!! A 1-ton jack would be kinda nice too...

Survivor

It was a long week. Tough decisions on the job with cust and dealing with various tricky delivery issues.

I had 2 trainings to attend which ended on Friday after 2 weeks. It was valuable as I learnt a lot about speaking skills and handling deliveries with a breeze(or should I say let's hope! ).

Nonetheless come weekend, I did nothing but chill. Took the Volvo to change the bulb. Ended testing the mechanics 240 Volvo which he intends to sell. He asked me to offer price which I am still considering. He said cheap cheap lah coz he already got 5 and gonna buy another one. His wife and neighbours screwing him as his exact words. Surprisingly after seeing me grow up as a kid, he just let me take the car out for a spin. It was great behind the wheel of a Volvo. The feeling of solidness and security was there. It was a great car though already 27 years old! It had that nostalgia feeling while on the road. I basically grew up with Volvos, hence the temptation of owning one. I only go for 80s and 90s models coz reminds me of the time dad had them and drove me in.

Yes! I finally went to dentist for scaling after 3 years! I could not remember having a record with the clinic in Gelugor but they managed to locate my details. I had this fear of going dentist. Dad was like why never go so long and advised me to take these health things more seriously. The last visit was in 2004.

Reached home just in time to wash my car which was not washed for 2 weeks. Went to church and followed by dinner with the folks and my aunts and uncles from KL and England. The Myvi is just great and I happy with it. We have bonded and have this attachment. Typical of single ppl. Get a life Trev! Haha!

Later that night, met my Volkswagon buddy at Esplanade. We chatted for almost 2 hours about cars and his family life. Tommorrow, have plans to meet up with him at Pantai Robina as they having monthly VW gathering. I am just going for fun and see what is all the fuss about the Beatle!

Interestingly enough, I learnt something kinda true from the VW guy.
People can never have enough in life. The things missing they want the most but the things they already have they don't take time to realize and appreciate.

Still in my chill mode and may watch some series of the OC. Suba my colleague always thought that OC is Orphan Child. It's actually Orange County for those who don't know.

Btw, Astro sux. They revamped all the channels and I don't know where the channels are now. Dad was like you didnt know of the change. Please explain to me when have I last watched the telly! Haha!

Frozen in time and money!

(The picture above is used as representation only and the brand is trademark of the respective companies)

Working so far has been an enjoying adventure filled with ups and downs. But I cannot deny the glitter in me when it's the end of the month; pay day!

Yes we do deserve what we earn and we have to reward ourselves with the efforts we put in!

However, it also would be wise to save money! I know this sounds like advise coming from some senior but this did strike me where I am heading to in terms of financial stability.

As ussual, I started Googling tips on how to save money. Save money and earn money is different!

What certainly striked me was a rather unussual but somewhat interesting tip. Most of my finding on Google blame credit cards for the reason why people over-spend.

The tip was to place your credit card into a tupper -ware and fill the tupper- ware (yes and the card with safe water) and cover the tupper-ware with the lid.

Once done, put the tupper-ware in the freezer!!!

Leave for 3 hours and then look at it. Frozen credit card!

The reason for this is to disable the use of the card, hence, saving money!

Alternatively, maybe we can train the mine to save and spend wisely.
The credit card is still useful no doubt in emergency situations.

From this to that...

The week began with my introduction to the delivery team the ETA team. ETA @ estimated time of arrival for Dell orders to Australia and New Zealand.

Thursday was badminton and Bukit Dumbar. I hadn't played badminton in like 1 year plus. Was really tiring and really sweated. I don't think I have sweat like that in a long time.

Friday was dinner / tea time appointment with Daryl and Hazel. Agenda : Pigs spare parts soup at Penang Road. RM 6.50 per bowl would get you bee hoon soup with pigs brains, liver, intestine and other scrumptous "spare parts". It was good. Went to fetch my Operations Manager and headed to Northam Cafe for ikan bakar, dim sum, rojak and sausages. Basically tit-bits. Then went to Screwball to play foose ball with Michelle, Hazel's sister. It was really good coz get to practice with beginner as well. Then pool with Daryl. Lucky you Daryl. There is always next time! :P

Then dropped everyone home before proceed to Church Street cafe for Carie's bday beer session.

The next day woke up to my mom complaining to me for 2 hours about my bro's new baby-sitter who left. Skip the details! :)

Went online and chilled until 12.30 pm before heading to Gurney with Steven Lo for lunch and then went window shopping. Nothing much also lah coz sale finish mah. Btw, I haven't been to Gurney in 3 months. I am becoming the average guy who only goes shopping when there is a need. Haha!

Then hung out at Coffee Bean with my couz as Steven had to go home. Lepak at the new Coffee Bean at G-hotel.

Went home , ON notebook then slept. Woke up, mandi, went to church with mom and aunt.

Came home and online again with me and my mom figuring out on Google Earth which part of Gibraltar my aunt is staying. Lost and inaccurate description.

11pm tampal my Myvi stickers and went for the TT in greenlane. Agenda: Round the island tour at midnight. It was kinda like Initial D the movie with dark bending roads and dangerous corners. Said a little prayer and safely reached Teluk Bahang Dam. Lepak there 1 hour and then came home at 2.45 am to update you guys. :P

Gwen in Malaysia... for real?

Would you seriously think that the likes and looks of this gorgeous woman would turn the average Malaysian guy into a sexual predator hunting for girls to have his way with?

Or would her good looks make the highly cultural girls here become destroyed?

Can we also say that we appreciate God's beautiful creations and vocal talents that God has given certain people?

I have read this many times in books and many people would agree; the mind controls what we do. If you think negative, you will end negative and vice-versa.

Simply by looking at the way someone appears is not going to do much to entice someone to go out and rape. It is all in the mind if that person who has strong faith and wisdom to control your actions. Knowledge is powerful but wisdom is powerful in knowing what to do with knowledge.

If you are trying to say that your mind can be so easily influenced by appearance, then I feel it would be advisable to look into the values that you believe in.

In regards to seeing an internationally acclaimed artist present in your homeland, that would be a big thing and it would deffinitely be appreciated. Would she be willing to come back again?

But can we control her? Is she a citizen, a follower of the same faith, does she believe in the values or are we trying to force her to follow our values?

The unique thing about the world is that everyone is different for so many reasons. It should be something we should accept and respect. No point making others follow-us just because we say so. Each person should have their own opinion on what they want to get the most out of life.

Who to blame?

Recalling the fatal bus tragedy killing 20 innocent lives.
I dun normally write this kinda things but this news has certainly touched me.

Talk a little bit about how things are run over here is wrong and is considered sensitive.

But when tragedies like this happen, who do we look at?

Deffinitely the driver is not fit to drive. But the bus company could not care less and is more concerned about profiting. Who controls the bus companies in Malaysia?

What saddens me is that innocent lives of Malaysians lost because of a human error. U think about it; someones father, mother, brother, sister, wife, husband, child, friend etc. , lost because of a mistake by someone. Lives parished just like that. The passengers (now victims) who had plans to return home to loved ones and spend good times together, now shattered forever by carelessness. NOTHING anyone can do for the victims families as compensation for what has happened. Life is just priceless!

If indeed the bus had been inspected thoroughly in the right manner and abiding by the rules and policies of the local authorities, it would be clear it was human error.

Deffinitely the steps taken in the past to eliminate such catastrophies is not working. Let's get up and brain-storn how we can solve this before it becomes an even worse national tragedy in the near future, God forbid.

Human error = driver error = unfit = 13 summons and 2 arrest warranties!

Solution: Interlink each and every citizens personal information with records of goverment agencies in one database. For an IT savvy nation, it is not a problem. We talk so much about how good we are, well it's time to put our talents to good use. I mean we have high end identity cards. Why cant the data be linked and incorporated together. Come on... just a little more work. Why not outsourcing if it is too hard to create something like this? Atleast it will be of bennefit and of good use back to the government.

On a more spiritual note, I pray that the lives lost will rest in peace and will find eternal peace in God's kingdom.
Not forgetting the lives of the families impacted by this gruesome human massacre.

An escappe to KL

It was Friday and I finalized a few important matters with Mandy and Melody. Left for home to pack up to go to KL on a Sat morning. Gave a call to a friend Chris to tell her I'll becoming to hang-out with her and Damian on a Sat. I bet ur sis will be so jealous! Lol!

Supposedly to wake up at 3.45 am but in the end woke up at 7.30 am thanks to my new pillow.

Left at 9 a.m. and reach Subang at around 1 pm. It was a good drive in the Volvo considering after being serviced.

Hanged out at my bro place. My bro and nephew went out for my nephew's friends bday. I was so bored at home. Dad wanted me to download the guy who recreated his own Negaraku, hence, did it. Oh dad transfered pics of his Euro trip with mom to my laptop. He gave me a run down on his trip.

Bro came back late that day and went to Carrefour. Came home to makan.

Left for my outing with Chris and Damian. Went to Starbucks at Taipan to test my wireless but unfortunately no connection to server that day. We wondering wat else can do. So went to Club 7 to play pool with Damian over some beers while Chris watched. Sent them home and returned back to my bro place to come online here.

Sunday would be time spent with family. Visiting my couz at TTDI and maybe PJ.

Monday morning have to wake up early for my sis convo. It should be over around 1 p.m. Dad got arrangements for party at bro place.

Tuesday, off back to Penang. Dad kinda home-sick and talking about home. Both a bit jet-lag.

The family doctor...

I was ill again today. Went to Dr Bala's in Pulau Tikus opposite 7 E.

Waited for a stinking 1 hour for the dude to come. Was kinda crowded with ppl sneezing and coughing.

My fever went up and felt really uncomfortable. Went in for the check-up and came out ensuring that it was paid by the company. :P

Crossed of to the car where I met my family doctor just about to close his clinic. I said hie and we started to talk about the past when I was younger, fatter and you could say a boy. Haha!

This dude is so relaxed and easy to talk to. He has aged obviously but still remembers the family. Actually they still go to him. But he can remember where I was missing for the past 6 years.

The good thing I learnt from him is his positive attitude and always kind. One of the best doctors I've met so far compared to that grumpy arse from Burmah C.

By the way, the nice doctor is Dr Teong from Klinik Teong Burmah Road.

Ignorance can sometimes be a mistake...

Yesterday, I went with my aunt to church, doing the ussual family thingy on behalf of my parents who are abroad.

I was in a real rush that evening so I hoped that church would be fast and the Australian priest will be saying mass. He clocks a good 50 mins for a mass! Turned out it was another priest, this old but full of wisdom guy. Lots to talk. I was in a rush for time.

So I thought hear he goes at his homily. I just took a deep breath and kept an open-mind.

He was referring to one of our parishners who may have made a big mistake in life. So as ussual, gossip of this person had gone around the church a week ago. Peoples opinion were mixed; some offered to help, some said she deserved to be punished!

What I learnt was, this sh*t could have happen to anyone. Would someone be there to help you the next time you are in a problem? The problems we face in our lives vary depending on the complexity and severity.

Think about it. We are all not perfect here in this world. There may be a point-in-time where we need support. Offer your help to a friend in need. Maybe someday it will be vice-versa.

The second lesson I learnt; listen to the priest during mass! Haha!

Dad was right... hehe!

Last week, I had been working at the office till really late. Sometimes 8 something, sometimes 9 someting. Go home sleep and next day repeat the whole process.

My dad asked me few times during the week if I had enough rest or not. Seriously I dunno how I did it.

Friday night was the end of my week as not coming in on Saturday. I have been coming in on Sat for like the past 3 weeks. Talk about having a life! Haha!

Suppose to meet up with the boss for some "Happy hour" that night but the boss cancelled suddenly. Pretty last minute. No worries. He promised me this week we'll go. Haha!

I parked at Snake Temple after work that night and gave a call to my friend on the mainland. Ask her what she doing and if got plans. So in the end went out with the gang for beers! Her sis just came down so I also long time never met her. So meet sekali gus! Venue : Sega Fredo @ Autocity (need to take Penang bridge or ferry as on mainland).

Had my dinner there at Sega (first solid meal of the day). Followed by beers! Muahah! It was really a nice time catching up and reminising on the past. Loads of laughs and fun! Well, what can I say, great company! It was such a relief for me as it was a busy week.

Actually wasn't bad lah going all the way there. Coz these friends also come over to Pulau Tikus sometimes for beers. Now I know what it feels like to drive all the way home after few rounds of beer! Haha! This what they call give and take mah!

Woke up on Saturday and felt like head spinning. Took a bath and drove to Alor Setar. Took the ferry accross. It was so nice and relaxing to see Penang in the background, waves coz of the ferry, the Penang bridge and of course the mainland approaching. I saw jelly fish!

Drove all the way to Alor Setar. Reached my aunt's boutique, she ask me follow my couz run some errands. So this 18 year old guy who just got license decided to drive me in his Gen-2.

We reached a one-way road and he had to go opposite. He ask me how so I said should be ok lah. Heck I am not from Alor Setar mah. So he decides to zoom by, came to a junction and did not stop.

The car had been hit on it's side wheel by a silver Kancil. Two of us got out and apologise to the aunt. Being the older and mature couz I talked to the lady and kind of cooled her down. Me and couz were like speaking broken Hokkien with her but thank God it worked!

I was a bit annoyed coz I came all the way and got stuck in an accident. I told that to my couz. It is a darn waste of my time. He called his uncle, uncle came and kautim the whole thing. Took the lady's car to repair.

Couz was feeling in a state of shock. I grabbed the keys from him and drove the car. His legs were like shaking. Fetched my lil couz from his drum lessons and went to their house to fetch their sis.

Basically had lunch with aunt and family, drive around and drove back to Penang.

But wait, there was this classic car exhibition so went to Autocity , AGAIN! Hahah! I just learnt there is a difference in cars; vintage is like Henry Ford era, classic is like 1960's and modern classic is like the age of the Volvo 240 (my era, well almost)... Haha! I dun really dig most of the cars that were vintage.

Went home, mandi, went out dinner with dad, uncle and aunt.

10 p.m. left home for clubbing. Clubbing was ok lah. Met up with friends from another department. Really crowded that day at Momo and the place we sat was like the highway of Momo. So keep getting ppl bumping into u.

Sunday, as promised, had to fetch my aunt for church. Then it's the ussual shopping time where I have to drive her.

Told her I was in a bit of a rush. Went home had lunch and out the door again.

Myvi gathering at Bagan Ajam mainland. This weekend was the most I used the bridge. 3 days in a row! A lot of members came so something like 40 ppl.

RS autos organized the gathering at their shop. Mostly a promotional thingy so that we buy there stuff. Had a very interesting conversation with the guys about cars and how to improve the little machine. Hehe.

This was my third time and beginning to feel part of the group. Everyone becomes a little dramatic when about to leave. Some went to Pacific to play bowling. I had to shoot back to Penang again as had appointment with dad.

I told myself I am not leaving the house for the rest of the evening. Right now I am getting ready for bed. Tiring week indeed but it was great! I can't believe I did so many things. Hehe!

Can I be honest?

Honesty sometimes can be risky. This with regards to friendship can test the strength and closeness of the friendship. It is never easy.

You know a friend like too well and fear that being honest is gonna create a confrontation in a friendship. The friend may just like freak-out or even be offended just because you tried to be honest.

So there are ppl who keep it to themselves in fear that it would complicate things with their best friend. Sorry... I dun think it is a pro-active approach(yeah, only now I can say it... lol).

The best is to get it out in the open. The good, the bad and the ugly. Sometimes friends surpress how they feel to someone and in the end the other friend dunno sh*t what's going on.

If your not happy about something with the person, just say it. But say it nicely. Be open! That would be the best way rather than to keep anger and frustration inside. No one knows how you feel until you actually tell that person.

People often say that they can take honesty at no extra cost but in the end feel offended and upset with the person who spoke to them.

Could it be the way the message is conveyed? Feeling a little "understanding" to the situation, empathatic and the feeling of "I really wanna help you" should be applied.

They say that only your friends will tell u the truth because they care and they want to help you. Ur enemy could not be bothered and would like to see u in the pitts.

Being a listener of a friend being honest, interpretating the message can be a subjective thingy; no right or wrong.

It all depends how a friend can take it. Sometimes if interpreted, the message could have been sent by someone who cares or means something to you. Otherwise, it could be seen as your invading my privacy----> tension ----- > piss off.

I sometimes have been told by my friends and somehow get upset at what they say. Haven't we all? But I guess they care and it may sound like just human-nature to yell. But there intention could be quite clear in helping you. It may be some sought of advise to improve or just their way of conveying the message.

I guess in life, it's good to look at things in general positively. If everything was bad, life would be so demotivating and nothing to look forward to. But in the end, it's all human nature. Everyone has growing feelings and personalities.

Can you believe it's already March?

It has become a routine, that a few of my colleagues and I to get together on Friday for a hike up Bukit Jambul. The trek up there is pretty rocky and quite scary. Up there, one can view the scene of Penang bridge, Pulau Jerjak and also Queensbay mall. For me, it's good exercise where I can sweat it out. Lately, I don't have the time to go jogging at Botanical Gardens. But this is an exception to keep fit and stay healthy.

My new sub-department asked me to organize a get together on Friday night. We had it at none other than Torch at Tg Bungah. Lots of people came. Lots of beer leaving us happy. Had a game of pool and foose-ball. Haha! Bullying the girls at Foose Ball. No. Seems that one of my friends has the experience after learning from me and she's busy scoring now. The lesson, never ever teach a girl how to play. Haha!

Saturday was spent reviewing my car loan and getting to know how to pay and where to pay.
The first and last payment has to be done at the bank. Subsequent payments can be made online thanks to the innovation of mobile banking. Woo hoo!

Saturday night had my Myvi Club get together at Jeti Merbok in Sungai Petani. Penang people gathered at Makro Sg Dua and went to Sg Dua toll on the mainland. Around 36 cars made it that day coming from Penang, Kedah and Perlis. It's a good time to share our experience with our beloved Myvi and of course meeting new people. Our next gathering will be in Jitra, Kedah to pool in new Myvi members from Kedah.

I woke up on Sunday morning at 9.20 a.m. thinking what should I do first. What struck my mind was hey, let's start the week in church. Made it in time for the 10 a.m. mass. Kinda crowded as people like it short and sweet.

Went to meet up with my uncle who manages the car park in front of Soho in town to catch up on the latest news. Then came home to meet his brother who just came down from Subang.

We went for Pitt Street Nasi Kandar which was awesome. However, I find that adding dried onions tends to make you thirsty which may have left me now with a sore throat. Still contemplating if I should go to work on Monday. I hate to skip work but I am considering the inconvenience of sitting in the office with this condition.

So what's next? It's my birthday of course! Yup this Saturday. 24/3/2007! Coincidently I am 24 this year and it's the year of the pig.

Hoping for more money, good health and of course trying my luck in the love boat!

Can you believe it's March? I can imagine the coming of Christmas again pretty soon. Haha!

Ok guys. All the best and take care. Live life to the fullest! Aim high and strive to achieve it! :D

My New Car!

As some may know I was planning to buy a new car since early Dec 2006. I am very interested in small cars these days. The micro-car like the Smart for Two would be cool. But not so practical.

I was looking in the range of Myvi, Getz, Jazz, Yaris and Picanto.

Key features I am interested in; cheap to buy, maintain, good after sales, good looking, save petrol, safe(has ABS, airbags) and nippy to drive in town.

I am not so into Korean cars so ruled out the Getz and Picanto.

Value for money, Jazz and Yariz ruled out coz too expensive for what u actually getting.

So I decided on the Myvi.

What it has? Looks?

It's a Glittering Silver colour, 1.3 litre DVVT 16Valve DOHC engine, Dual SRS, ABS with EBD and immobiliser.

I admit it has the modern features of most of the latest cars on the road today. I compared it with my 6 year old Wira and significantly see the difference. Wira has been around since the early 1990s and is almost the same. As ussual the "big boys" up there not bothered about coming out with new models. So screw you as I have absolutely no loyalty for your brand!

On a happier note, I am happy with the Myvi. It's nice to drive and importantly a breeze to park on the narrow roads of Penang! Today coincidently, I fetched Carienna, Siew Yean, Joyce and Pam in the Myvi for lunch. 5 ppl in the car but it was ok. Not bad. And I didn't even need to use over-drive.

Rear shot. Car plate number is BJJ 8600. I wanted 8 coz means wealth, 6 is career and 00 coz can trail nicely with JJ. I dunno but I sourced this info from the net and just used my creativity to create a 4 digit number. Reason B plate coz my bro got connection in KL. One of the first non-black 2007 registered Myvi in Malaysia!

The end of January 2007

I woke up to a beautiful Sunday morning!

I went straight to the TV and flipped through the channels with my favourite section of NST, Cars, Bikes and Trucks! Haha!

Took a shower and headed off to my natural haven, Botanical Gardens. It was beautiful sunny day. So perfect. Greenery, blue skies, birds flying, butterflies flying... simply relaxing. Kinda out of the ordinary ordeal compared to the ussual process of going to work. Haha!

Here are some shots taken trying to max out the camera feature of my V3i:

Simply beautiful background. Can you notice the different shades of green?

Scenic view of the river from Waterfall.

Simple gorgeous.

It certainly took my mind of things that keep me busy thinking. I felt so much happier. I felt that I had gone for some revival course. Brought me back to reality and calmness. I feel so much better.

This Tuesday and Wednesday, I am off to KL for a holiday. Just to relax and take my mind off things. Hopefully I get to bring back something new. Long time never go shopping d.

Thaipusam is on Thursday but still got work. I deffinitely have to avoid going to my other house in Jalan Utama this week. I hate jams! Seriously it's gonna be crowded like every year. But amidst the crowd, I certainly admire the devotees with their 'kavadi'. I can see a strong believe in their religion. I admire that. I wish I can go take a quick peep of what's going on. Certainly would "bedazzle" me. Hahah! That word sounds so sexy!

This Saturday my parents are having some party for their new grandson in P. Tikus. I hope to get some photos to put up here. Just a big family event with family friends over. Mostly old ppl and it's not gonna be any happening then Torch! Haha!

God, I really pray to get through this week with patience and ease. Please give me the courage to let her know that... :X

New Year 2007!

Wow... So happy to be in 2007! Glad I have a job and happy with life. I hated being a student. Haha!

The last whole week of 2006 was spent busy in the office. Yes, I did return from my trip to KL to celebrate Christmas with my family at my bro's place in Subang.

Friends and colleagues did asks me about my plans for New Year. I was so uncertain. Never really thought of it. They were like organizing a week in advance. I was like more go with the flow.

I did promise Lisa that I would join her, Azmy and Suzie but I just had no mood to go Upper Penang Road for New Year. That is like the centre of the celebrations here in Penang so can imagine the crowd. I hate crowded places.

On the 31st of Dec. around 3 p.m. I gave a call to Gan to arrange plans for the New Year celebration. I spent the last day of 2006 on the beach in Penang. Munching on 'kacang' and having a fag. It was a beautiful sunny day. Gan was like sun-bathing and practicing his karate. I was more like contemplating on what happen in 2006 and how I can do better in 2007.

So back to the New Year plan, I called him and Jega and we decided to meet up at Torch Tg. Bungah. I normally hang out there coz I think it's happening and kinda cool. Not so rowdy crowd! Haha!

Beyond my expectation I met soooo many old friends. Wow! It certainly brought back good childhood memories of friends whom I had grown up with but lost contact over the years.

Got to catch up with them and buy some beer. I was so happy that night I was so freaking drunk. Cheers-ing around and laughing and talking crap... haha! It kinda felt like the happiest moment in a long time seeing everyone after so long. People you grew up with, laughed with and maybe even faught with. But those were the days. Nice to see everyone happy in life and doing well.

Me and Andrea

Gan, Jega and me.

My bro called me up to wish me and advised me to becareful as I was kinda high. I managed to get Jega to drive me back in the end to my place with my car as he parked his bike there.

I got home slowly into the house. Climbed upstairs. Took a shower and went to bed. I like totally K.O. on my bed.

U obviously can imagine how I felt the next morning on 1/1/2007! Haha! Happy New Year!
