A mid week break... Come away with me...

It was a good day at work today. Good as in closed more cases, updated a few and a few happy customers. Had to rush to toilet 2x coz of the dinner at Baan Tai with Gan in Tg Bungah the night before. I seriously recommend this place coz cheap and good food. Ask me where it is if interested.

Left work around 5 pm and took a drive in the hot sun to Esplanade to chill. It was a long time since I last went to seek refuge from the hustle and bustle and worries of life. Lepak only there with the breeze and the cheer in everyone elses mind as it was public holiday except for me. Haha!

She called so went to fetch her to go dinner. We were looking at eating at this place at Beach Street but it was closed AGAIN. This time I told her it's closed for good lah as in the business failed so they ran away in disgrace! Haha!

Undecisive as always, took a drive down Campbell Street en-route to No Eye Dear, then she said char koay teow here good and we found a parking right before our eyes. Unfortunately, yours trully over-shot it and we had to round the block to only find it occupied by a van.

Calmly took another turning(to cover macho) and parked the Myvi. Paid the beggar (I really hope he stops doing drugs and does not save the RM 1 I gave him to buy more).

So off we went for Char Koay Teow. To be honest it was bladdy good! Only missing is the deep fried prawn(not sure what it's called but ate before :P). That is the specialty of that hawker.

I told her I was hungry as always during dinner so had to do justice by ordering a bowl of koay teow thng. Complimented by Leng Chee Kang.

Got into a great conversation with her as always that we decided to take it to Esplanade. Haha! 2x in a day to Esplanade I must be really happy! I guess thats why I love spending time with her coz we really get into intense conversations that we forget the reality of the world around us.

Then went HSBC before sending her home. Had to take the not so congested roads as it was Thaipusam in Penang. She complimented me for my cleverness in avoiding traffic@ she really needed to sleep.

I had a good evening because the conversations were really interesting that it's hard to say good bye.
Oh well, I hate good byes but the Hellos are what I look forward to! :D
