I left Penang on a Saturday. I could not sleep that morning. Woke up around 6 a.m. to watch some tv on Astro. Last minute catching up on my Astro. Miss Astro lah. Mostly the Travel & Adventure channel. I dun have the budget to go on expensive holidays but by watching I get to see so many things. My dad was wondering why I couldn't sleep and kept reminding me of the drive back to KL. That morning I sempat to eat my Koay Teow Th'ng before leaving the house at 11 a.m. Miss my doggies and the ambience of home in Pulau Tikus. Great little place in Penang that I call home!
I supposedly convoyed back with my aunt but she over-took me at the tolls coz she pandai2 got Smart-Tag. Boohoo! Ok I dun have one. Had to queue up to get ticket and also to pay toll. To me I hardly travel so why debit valuable money into a card for Smart-Tag when I can use the money daily to buy food, credit, petrol etc. Heheh! The queues were long but smooth lah. Compliments to staff members of PLUS! Great work guys!
Went to my couz place at Tmn. Tun and stayed there till Monday morning. On Sunday I was invited to Nurul's house in Puchong. She has really a nice house and not forgetting a very nice family. Some people are really blessed! Nurul was happy lah to see me of course! Hahah! =P Makan2 at her house before we went hang out though it was raining heavy and hate driving in rain because of the added risk of u know what. It's proven! We went to O.U. as Nurul told me and not 1-Utama like people like me from outstation call it. So I was corrected there in addressing a shopping complex! Thanks!
We went to watch Salon. Tengku Farah has beauty for a 17 year old girl. She looks mature. But that's acting. Wonder what she's like in real life? None the less, she acted well and it was a nice movie. Nurul kept asking me,"Trevor r u bored?". I was like "No". It was interesting. Then we got hungry and as promise took the sweet girl to Chilis. I was shocked at the menu. I thought the prices were astronomical but I was wrong. Rather reasonable though I know Char Koay Teow at Burmah Road Penang only cost Rm3. But it was a good experience for me. Nice atmosphere and the food was not bad. I find that TGI Fridays was a little more pricey coz Nurul and I have been there before. But the food was nicer lah I feel at TGI. By the way, we were so stuffed at Chilis that Nurul suggested we better start walking before we fall asleep at the table. I felt much better and I am sure she did. I think it was a great outing. Agree Nurul?
As planned, Monday morning I left for Malacca. Traffic was good and kept to the speed limit. I came back early to do some revision lah. No I am not kiasu just trying to recall things I learnt in early years at MMU. Also to tidy my room. Thank God my housemates are here and added to pleasure of returning home. Sure miss Penang mah. Who wouldn't? Not many people around just some friends like Alfian, Andrea, Jahar and Aini. Not forgetting Andrea's 7 year old sister Avaline who is down on holidays! Exposing the truth of what young adults do in Malacca especially our click! Hahah! Watched Anak Mami Kembali since I felt like watching a simple movie and besides it was a Penang movie! It was fun and the theater was quite full mind u. I remember my mom saying that Pe ( an actor in the movie) use to work in Esso Pulau Tikus pumping gas. His talent was caught by someone and that's the beginning of his acting career. No more pumping gas in Esso. I never see him in Penang I dunno why.
I wish all my friends a happy return to Malacca. Nurfadzlin just told me how much she misses Malacca but most importantly what we all miss is the FREEDOM! Haha! See u all soon. Good luck to my SPM friends!

Selamat Hari Raya!
Wow... the month of Ramadhan is over. So fast 1 month. I admit I did 'puasa' on somedays. It was a rather interesting experience of controlling temptations for thirst and pleasure. Nurul really inspired me to do so. She's a great mentor. Thanks dear! I would like to wish all my Muslim friends 'Selamat Hari Raya'. Party on!!!
Hari Raya would be in Penang for me this year. Probably I will go to my uncle's house as he celebrates Hari Raya in Sri Nibong, Penang. I've been going there since I was a little Trevor. I did miss a few years when I was in KL or Malacca these few years. He serves great serunding! I remember when I was young my mom taught me about Malay culture. What to do and what not to do. I although small accepted what she taught me. My mom is from Kedah and use to work in the Kampungs back then long before I was born. She told me when she had to leave for Penang, the kampung people gave her a big 'kenduri' in appreciation for what she did. So that's why she knows a lot about Malay culture. It's great in being a Malaysian and knowing about the different cultures that are in Malaysia.
This Saturday I head back to KL. I convoy with my parents and my aunt. But, my parents will follow us to Taiping then the rest continue to KL. They are attending a wedding in Taiping. Hope to go hang out at my couz place at TTDI. Long time never see them d. When I was doing my practical I see them almost every other day. Heheh! Sunday plan to go to KLCC with Nurul. Ah, just wanna lepak and chill out! Hmmm... if time permits we shall check out the new aquarium in KLCC. I heard Nurul mention it's around RM 25 which is a lot. Not sure though if going. I would really want to go to IKEA with my bestfriend Gan but I think cannot this time as I leave for Malacca on Monday. He needs new stuff for his new place in Kajang. Next time yeah mate!
I shall do some research on my FYP during the week I am there in Malacca. Just brush up on some programming lah as I lost touch of some techniques. Not to say I terror but just wanna put it in a satisfactory order. Khalil should be back on Thurs. We could check out the project together. He and Wan Foo are my groupmates for the project.
My trip to Penang was great. Got to catch up with most of my friends. Sorry to my friends and cousins who will be sitting for SPM as I could not meet up with u all. I see u all next time I get back aight? By the way, Gooo Luck to all of you for SPM !!! I went to almost all the places I love to go. Kek Lok Si, Botanical Gardens, Gurney Plaza, Esplanade etc. It was great going out with friends. Not for getting meeting those 'bapuks' in Chulia Street. Hahah! Important thing is I had fun!!!!
I wish all my friends happy holidays during the remainding days of our treasured holidays! Best of luck for the new trimester.

Touch down at Pearl of the Orient!
I left Malacca on the 13th of October at 5 am. I could not sleep on my bed coz someone so clever go and have coffee latte at Gloria Jeans Cafe during Alfian's 22nd birthday. Happy birthday Pian!
Packed all my stuff as I really need my things with me into my car and headed off in the early morning which was still dark. Stopped at Sg. Buloh R&R for some chocolate milk and some buns. Continued until Simpang Pulai R&R where I slept for an hour coz 'beh tahan'. So sleepy.
Continued my journey after freaking out for sleeping for an hour and felt so blur. I was stumbled to hear Hitz.fm playing classical music. I was wondering. " Ape dah jadi??". The real reason was because Datin Seri Endon had passed away. God rest her soul. I notice that there were offical cars going down from the north (Perdana V6 and Wajas) for the funeral.
When I reached home in Pulau Tikus, Penang, my mom was so shocked to see me. Haha! I was laughing coz I left so early. Reach Penang around 11 something I think. Broke the news to her of the demise of Datin Endon. Many were shocked lah not only my parents. It shocked the nation. Goes to show cannot really believe media reports of people in so called 'stable condition'.
I got my car fixed up here and there. My parents asked me to check it as really used a lot. We ( BDS and me!) travelled to Kajang, Ampang, Subang, Malacca, Cyberjaya and most parts of KL frequently. The car was extensively used so it needed some checking up just to see all still ok. Change my tyres and repaired my 'bengkok' rim. The picture you see of my dummy wheel is not because of puncture (touch wood!). The rim was sent to be mended. Then change gear oil as u know lah 1.6 main problem is gear. Thanks so much to my parents who 'belanja' me... heheh!
It was another trip for me to Kek Lok Si in Penang. Walked up the covered stairs where can see lots of shops selling interesing souveniers and ornaments that leads to Kuan Yin's statue. This time, I drove up to the statue. I mean heck I would do this first and last. So make the best of it and drive up lah. Got quite good shots that I will include here. Mostly a scenic view of Penang city.
The dream of sitting on my red carpert in front of my tv has become a reality. Watching mostly Travel and Adventure and National Geographic. Chun lar. I mean the shows may sound geeky but they are kind of interesting. Like the documentary of the Haj in Mecca. Watch tv until 2.30 am sometimes, latest being 3 am. Kind of nice to watch tv sometimes than surfing lah. Heheh! Manage to download Desperate Housewife episode 4 of season 2. Nurul has been my informer telling me what to download and when the episodes would come out in the U.S. Terror research yeah dear! Haha!
At home, the ussual lah. Wash cars, clean here and there and take some pictures of my garden. The flowers are blooming though it rains a lot here. My dad said we shall not buy new birds as a precaution of the recent outbreak of aviant flue. I am so disturbed by my dogs barking coz I have been away for sometime and really forgot that dogs can be a nuisance at times. Before I came back here, I was like telling my mom, "Mummy, how are they? Miss them lah". Now like sien d lah... heheh!
I am lucky as got to meet my old buddies. Let's see, I met Nigel and Randal ( the Gurney gang) and my neighbour Teng Ho. I have yet to meet Boey, my housemate. Soon lah I think. It's nice meeting up with the old friends and going places that u have never been going to hang out for a while. The craziest thing I, Randal and a bunch of friends did was drive around town in 2 cars near our old St. Xavier's looking for 'bapuks'. Not to acquire service lah but just to see them and have a good laugh. Men trying to be women. It's not funny just it's hard to understand what they going through lah. Psychological I guess.
I shall be writing more soon here telling u all more of my holidays. Till then have a great holiday! To my Hindu friends, Happy Deepavali. To my Muslim friends, Selamat Hari Raya!

Holiday mood... I guess...
I just passed up my report last Tuesday. Now waiting for the presentation on Wednesday. I dunno what they gonna ask and I am just gonna prepare the relevant slides I think is needed; company background, what I did etc.
After that, I am shooting off home to Penang! Yeah, I am just gonna grab my car and go home. It's gonna be like 5 hours drive but I am gonna try doing it... SOLO! Hahah! I just wanna induldge in my favourite food lar... nasi kandar, curry me, char koay teow, mee goreng ( Swattow Lane). Damn, my lips are wet already! Haha! Going back home would mean get to drive my dad's and mom's car. Miss driving them lar... I often rekindle the pass as I drive them. Oh yeah especially on those roads in Penang that I use to use when I was a kid! Oh not forgetting my Hawk Worker mountain bike. Gonna fill some air and hit the road. I had her for 9 years now... she use to be my love until I met... N... hehe! Maybe if got some money I go shopping... not at those expensive malls lar... Ayer Itam kot... the stairs going up to Kek Lok Si.
I should be back in KL before Deepavali lar. If Deepavali maybe go visit my friend at Rawang. But will have to find the place lar. Hari Raya not sure who I am gonna visit as Nurul told me to wait until people call then go. But sure I wanna visit Azuri loh... His my old buddy in MMU. The one that taught me the fundamentals of IT, friendship and love. The rest I tunggu dan lihat. Owh yeah, maybe go check out that Aquarium in KLCC with Nurul. It better be worth my money Nurul or u owe me a box of kuih raya, serunding etc. ... hahaha!
One thing I learnt of late. Appreciate the ones close to u. When they are gone, u never know when they will come back or if they will come back. Learn to chill and relax and dun worry to much. Just be happy with life and take life easy. U are the one responsible for urself. I f u want to see things happen, it only depends on u and everyone has a fair chance of doing what they want. Importantly, be happy. Regarding decisions, make ur own decisions. People may be not the best to give but do listen to what they have to say. At the end make a decision ur happy with. The only way to be happy is by making ur decision because u know exactly what u want.
I hope this holidays I can chill and relax at home. Have a good rest after so long up and down, here and there. Just wanna stay at home and be pampered by my parents! Heheh! The ideal thing for me is to sit on my living room carpert ( I love carperts!) and watch Astro on TV. Wow, that's ultimate. I hope my sis got new seasons of Orange County coz they really get me off my seat with all the excitement going on.
Oh yeah guess what???? I am so into Desperate Housewife. Those 4 women, Susan (HOT), Bree(medium hot), Lynette (cold) and Gabby ( Hotter!) are simply so entertaining in the show. I mean they really show how women in their 30s or 40s are and how they go through life! I mean the horror that goes round the neighbourhood is a bit over reminding me of the backlanes of New York but the lifes of them makes u really learn a lot about people their age.
Happy holidays guys! Hope to tell u guys more of Penang trip. To the people living far far away from their love partners, 'jangan nakal-nakal'.

Back to Malacca!
Wah... really great to be back to Malacca. Hanging out with all my friends here and there and also the bumping into friends at malls, pasar malam and Bukit Beruang area who are like where the hell have have u been??? But also kinda sad as some of my friends have graduated this year and left MMU. Next year, it will be my turn. I guess these are stages in life. When u are at the end of a stages, u succeed and go on to the next. Probably more fun and experiences later on in other stages. As for my current stage of being in Malacca, it's been a great life experience. Memories that will last a life time.
Got reaquainted to my room in Malacca. Needed a lot of cleaning up. Even though I just got this place and had done a 'disposing' session before I moved in, I realize it just wasn't enough. So out went more things. My old Telekom bills etc. I am lucky to find this place and got really good housemates. They are really sweet. We all like family like that.
I also would like to thank the generous people out there who have been looking after my 'precious asset'. I know there were loads of problems, but u guys helped me out. Thank you so much!
The heat in Malacca needs some getting use to. But, it starts to rain occasionally, hence, it cools down the heat. One thing lar about rains, they dirty my car... :(
I got a report submission due on the 12th of Oct and a presentation on 19th Oct. So pretty much I jaga rumah here in Malacca. I like Malacca lar. The small town. The food. The people.
Hope to leave for Penang by the 20th. Wanna go home lar and play with my dogs and drive my mom's Iswara again. Lot of great times in that car! I wanna go up Kek Lok Si again... I just love that place and the Buddhist statues. I feel so at peace.
During these months, I will have my Final Year Project to be done. I got two of my great friends to be my group mates. We are considering what program lar to be done. Cause I mean, if we chose a difficult one, chances of doing well also hard. We gotta be prepared with knowledge in Java, ASP or PHP. I blur lar but gotta learn up!
Living in Selangor was great lar. I mean no doubt it's a busy place with traffic jams and pollution. But, you yourself end up getting busy and going with the flow. In the end, you just feel like one of them. A typical thing I experienced was trips to shopping complexes, stuck in traffic jams, eating out (too busy/tired lar to cook). I made the best of it. Closer to Brian my 4 year old nephew. Really miss that small boy. We made good play buddies! Never too old to be a kid! Hahah! Also not forgetting meeting old friends and relatives all over Petaling Jaya, KL and other suburbs. Met Azry and Apis in Seri Kembangan, Gan in Kajang, Celeste in Ampang, Fayeruz in Cyberjaya. Wow, my car really covered a lot of km! It was fun to meet up with all of them and those I did not mention. Most of these places I was not sure of and never been to like Seri Kembangan and Kajang. Now I know. Heheh!
Selamat Berpuasa to all my Muslim friends during Ramadhan and Happy Deepavali to my Hindu brothers and sisters! If anyone got open house on Deepavali or Hari Raya, give me a call or SMS. Maybe I can come! Happy holidays to everyone during MMU trimester break! Have a smashing time where ever u are! Drive safe u all!

Work and play!
Work can have it's ups and downs. Being in the lower position would require strong communication between the upper management and the workers below. Upper management need to synchronize their orders and not give instructions that would complicate or confuse workers under them. The effects of being unsynchronized could bring damaging effects, lost of time and money. But if it's the fault of the upper management then the lower ranks one have nothing to loose. I listened to u, u gave me different info so what u expect to get? The results u want? Dream on... Sure not 'tepat' one. That's what I learnt at my training. I also learnt to carry on asking to clarify any doubts. Since we are working with management who keep changing their mind, constantly checking up with the upper management would be the most ideal solution to try to finish a task. So what if they scold? I need them to pay me. That's it. They are not gonna be going with me on a round of golf(berangan macam ahli korprat...hehe!) on Sunday or hanging out with me at the bar. What happens at the working place stays there. I don't give a crap IF I got some yelling. But thankfully I never got any yet and they did tell me to ask if I have any doubts as they said they won't scold as they know people like me are under practical. It's a learning experience with the bennefit of getting paid. The salary does help me out lah financially. More money is better right? Hehe!
Oh... the finals for Akademi Fantasia 3 are up tommorrow. So we are down with Mawi, Felix, Marsha and the curly haird girl. I seriously dunno who will win. I think the descision by Astro to maintain the confidentiality of the SMS voting results is good. To me it maintains a fair win by who ever who wins. Atleast the win was by merit rather than popularity. I mean I did like Amy but she was knocked off. I think it was fair. She had the looks but her singing I don't think can be compared by the likes of the remaining contestants. I mean this is my point of view as a music listener rather than a music performer. There are many fan clubs spread all over Malaysia and God knows if there are ones overseas. Fan clubs would obviously boost the voting results of their fan. Hence, it would be a fight of who voted the most rather than the actual credentials of the singer. I mean there is a vast difference in the amount of viewers who actually vote for a good performer than those who vote for someone who they think is 'good'.
Being as stressed out as most people would know me, a walk at the beach in Klebang, Malacca with Nurul was certainly relaxing. I mean we obviously didn't soak ourselves to the bones and totally mess up my car with sand. But, we had fun moderately by walking on the sand and waiting for the sea to wash up on our legs on the beach. Hehe! I had fun. Reminded me of how relaxing life can be though I am surrounded with demands, datelines and difficult task to handle on a normal day. Seing the nice ocean with Indonesia way beyond that was breathtaking. In short it was relaxing to me lar and I cannot stop mentioning how nice it was especially with my sweetheart.
I am trully blessed with great friends who are ever so helpful and understanding. Friends from my extended family in Malacca to the colleagues at work to the guys over in Penang. Thank you so much. When your down and out it's them who are there and brighten your day. Friendship is something which is dear to me and cannot be bought. Happiness is the result of good friendship. We all have misunderstandings at times. But who cares? Don't couples fight too? Hehe!
My little car got a nice wax the other day by it's no. 1 fan, me! Hahah! It was not that hard cause I stumbled upon some wax my sister-in-law got and applied it to my car. Deffinitely looks different as it looks more shinning. It's not really much of 'Wow, that car looks great!" but more of it looks shiny and clean. Maintaining things sometimes is good cause they last longer and they make u proud of what u have no matter how much it's worth. I use to polish my BMW 3 series scale model car in the 90's and I was pretty happy about it. Hehe!
To people out there. Let me say something. Enjoy life each moment. F*ck all those worries and those barriers that confine or limit you. They will always be there in your life but look at more positive moments in life. Be happy. Do things that please you cause that's when u have achieved your happiness. No I am not saying go out and steal a Mercedes and go for a joyride all the way to Phuket. The simple pleasures in life in fact can be the ones that can bring the most happiness. An outing to the mall or cinema. Does that cost much?
Best of luck to all in what ever you do and remember to spread some love around! Yeah baby!

Merit or popularity?
I was kind of forced to watch Akademi Fantasia(AF) last weekend with Nurul. Not to say I don't dig the local musical talent search shows. I just am not really a TV guy though I love to sit and watch the TV at home in Penang. Miss that silver SONY and sitting on the red carpert in front of it! Heheh!
All the participants were great I do admit. Each gifted with extraordinary talent and guts to sing in front of a large audience. Every week I think, a participant or two( first time happen last week in the history of AF!) gets knocked out. The choice is made by the viewers via SMS. The one with the least is kicked out.
Some participants I admit have outstanding physical features, interesting ethnic background, phylosphies of life etc. The viewers I have to say are so judging this instead of the whole reason why talent search contests are held for. The contest is to chose an individual with talent, outstanding singing ability and of credible performance out of a group to be crowned champion of AF.
It was rather obvious that the past weeks, we have seen the weaker ones staying and some better ones going. Of course it was fair base on the SMS counts. But do the ones going really deserve to go? Kudsia Kahar( a respectable judge on AF) and Syafinaz(Music lecturer and singer) did admit this in the last show. It is quite clear that something is going wrong.
Trust me, if the maturer citizens of America, Singapore or Australia were to check out how a talent show like AF is going on in Malaysia, they would laugh their hearts out. Sure they would think of the mentality us Malaysians possess. They would be bursting with questions. How do we choose good singers? Do we Malaysians know anything about art? Is the music scene in Malaysia that fresh?
We have seen many musicians walk by us in Malaysia. All with extremely great talent and the ability to please the audience. The late P. Ramlee, Saloma, Ahmad Daud, Sudirman are singers that have left a spot in the Malaysian music arena. There are so many like Sheila Majid, Ella, Siti Nurhaliza and more who still here to entertain us. It goes to show we Malaysians are musical. We are experienced with music and we know what we hear is good.
My opinion would be to wise up and make a good choice. Yes, it is insignificant for just that one vote. But atleast that vote was base on credibility of the singer as well as his or hers ability to entertain us.

Up and about in Subang!
Been working at the office for more than 2 weeks now. Getting busier with work and datelines. I am glad to meet such motivated and goal oriented colleagues from MMU with me during the training at the office. We all get along well. In the begining we were not that close but after some time getting to know each other we became closer. I mean all 4 of us are so different but we managed to bond which has turned out so nice to have new friends. Last Wed. we went to play pool at Club 7 in Subang, thence adjourned to Tanjung 'Mamak' shop for supper. I didn't expect all to show up. It's good to see the team spirit within us.
My parents are down for the week cause my father has some work to do. Erm... a bit cramp here in SS18 but it's ok lar. Oh yeah even outside the house. 1 car in the parking lot and the other 4 are outside. Rather different scenario compared to back home in Pulau Tikus, Penang, where the whole lot can be parked inside. Atleast I can dine on my mom's cooking for dinner. Miss all her favourite chicken curry, petai sambal and others. Now she here she can cook mah. Save some money also for me... heheh!
Property here is astronomical. I mean if you compare with Puchong or Kajang for the same area space it is much cheaper than Subang. Subang is also becoming quite densely populated. Lot's of jams but what can u say with only like 2 access roads into Subang from the Federal Highway. Hopefully with the new mega flyover project at Subang intersection, the traffic will ease.
I got this real droaning noise coming from the engine. Sound like exhaust pipe. Gonna check it out tommorrow. My petrol gauge is also busted. Irregular petrol estimation. I doubt it's electronical problem cause the estimation of the needle is not so eratic. I hope the repairs don't cause me a bomb!
Going down Malacca next Friday to pay my bills. Hope to meet Nurul and all the friends. So fast end of the month. Malacca is nice to chill lar. I mean there really isn't much but the friends are great. Sure they are busy with their studies but sure hope they don't mind hanging out a while... hehe! Looking forward to meet u guys!
The following weekend I am returning to Penang for the weekend. My aunt's big birthday party. Long time also never go Penang. Sure still the same wan... hehe! Hope to meet Gan. 2 days only cause it's a weekend but gonna make the best out of it!
I am reading a lot in my free time here after work. Going to MPH Subang Parade to see what's new. I dun really go too far with my car problems. Somemore I just started my first job although it's just training. I hope to save up some atleast lar. Saving is good but one should have a purpose. I am so young and so many things to get. Have to start early rather than to suffer later.
I wish all my friends the best for this new semester in MMU. Take care!

K.L. I am here!
It's been like 3 weeks now living here in Subang. Staying somewhere in an area called SS18 which is like 5 minutes to Subang Parade. The nearest buddy who is hardly even here is Asrul who stays at SS15 Subang(even nearer to Subang Parade).
Got into the hang of working at MERP (M) Sdn. Bhd. a software house that deals with business application software. When I got in on the 27th of May 2005, I got to learn up Crystal Reports, a reporting software for business documents like receipts, invoices, quotations etc. Then, like on the 1st I got a new job to do the user manual for their 2005 version of the company's software. I work together with another guy(MMU Cyberjaya) on the project. The rest of my colleagues are from MMU Cyberjaya and Malacca respectively. Office hours are from 9-6p.m. with lunch at 12.30 to 1.30. Saturday is off day! Erm... I think it's ok lar working there I mean. I learn a lot and at the same time do work there. I wouldn't say the work is easy cause there's reasonably quite a lot to be done for the company.
So wat do I do after work? Hang out of course. If u know me, I like walking around shopping complexes just window shopping. Been to Carrefour Subang, Subang Parade, IOI Mall Puchong, Tesco Puchong, Midvalley Megamall, Jaya Supermarket Petaling Jaya, Metrojaya Petaling Jaya and the new One Utama.Really nice to see all the shops and the different people in KL. Notice a lot of mix couples but hey that's what Malaysia should have more of. No doubt there's different people here in Malaysia but all are true Malaysians. I like my friend, Amed's theory of when people ask him what race he is he calls himself a Malaysian. Amed, bile nak jadi Dato' ni? Hehe! I find that there are a lot of profesional people living here and I respect them for getting here to KL. Sure it ain't easy. For a person like me coming from Penang, I really am at the bottom of the ladder. I am aiming up.
My car broke down again. This time black oil leak from the lower gasket of the engine. Just sent it in today and my uncle was kind enough to lend me my cousins Wira Aeroback 1.6 cause she's living in Singapore now. Almost the same car as mine yeah? Driving is pretty much the same but this car is much well taken care of then mine. Milege still below 60k km and not so much vibration. Guess what year it is?? 1996! Yes... it's true. Lucky cousin of mine I guess.
Living with my bro here turned out to be soo fun! I get to play with my nephew, Brian, after work. It's kinda like living in a childs world again by doing things like watching Buzz Lightyer ("To infinity and beyond!"), playing with his Hot Wheels and just running around the house! Really it's tiring but good fun! When I am using my PC, he keeps bugging me to play Need for Speed Underground 2! U know kids with cars. Just looking at me driving makes him all excited. Actually it even thrills me! Haha!
I thank Nurul for being so helpful in taking me around and looking after me when she could here in KL. She went with me to almost all the shopping complexes I went like I mention above. Thanks dear! Next time ur here we go out again k? It's a date! Heheh! Gonna miss her when she's back in Malacca.
Like I always say no point being sad missing someone. Look forward to the moment when u can meet that person next! Living a happy life is what we all are striving for. To be honest it's easier said than done!

Penang Touchdown!
I have been in Penang since Saturday. I was last here during the Chinese New Year Break!Yeah, that was really long ago. Not surprised when my friends met me,they were so surprised where on earth I hid for the past two months. Hehe! Mostly they tell me I put on weight... well, mesti lar.... bahagia kan? Hahah!
Hanging out a lot at home here in Pulau Tikus. Watching TV and sleeping. In the evenings, I play with my dogs and my new puppies. Sometimes I wonder, who runs after who. The dogs or me.... haha!
A lot on my mind lately while my mind is so freaking free. About my practical in Subang. The job I think more or less I am prepared. My accomodation is so uncertain. I just hope to get a nice room with internet facilities and a bathroom. Not really into TV and all. I mean it's KL lar... just go hang out. Not many friends compared to Malacca but gonna make some. Will be making trips to Malacca from time to time to see my new place in Tmn. Kerjasama, Bukit Beruang. I am gonna miss someone so much in Malacca for sure... oh well... life must go on. We'll meet up I promise.
While, I am in KL I shall learn about the life and the people. I like learning new things. Being observant and checking out new things. My cousin Randal from Penang, says his going down to to his practical to so maybe meet up with him. I would like to visit shopping complexes. I like spending time walking and window shopping. I guess looking at astronomical prices of goods makes me motivated to work hard. My mom keeps on telling me prices of everything has gone up due to the petrol increase. To me, it's the movement of time. I looked back at my dad's old Volvo brochures and the price of a brand new Volvo back then was less than RM25 000. Today, Volvo's start at RM200 000. Big difference right?
Thinking a lot about my future while I am free. I wanna try to work hard. Get a good job that I am happy with. Then probably think of finding a home and settle down with someone I love. I just hope that special someone waits for me.When u take a moment and think... u go like wooooooooo..... so many things to buy and spend. But, I guess, it's all in time. Whatever is to happen is in the hands of God. Just take life a day at a time and enjoy the moment. Look on bright side... =).
Love to me is the best thing that happen. You appreciate how wonderful life is. Finding that special someone who is really meant for u tops up everything. Love is blind irrespective of race, religion, ethnic background, social status etc. Love can be between anyone that shares a special connection that exists called love. You may get impatient in wanting to be with that special someone, but only time will tell. Just be patient and enjoy the moment u have with him/ her. Pray a lot I guess. God understands us and cares for us no matter how stupid we are sometimes. What's important He understands and I am sure He knows we are not perfect.
Live life the fullest and appreciate the ones u love the most! =P

Roti jala, capati and chicken curry!
It was another day at the library with Nurul, Lisa, Lin, Ashe and me. We had been studying the whole afternoon and we were getting tired. As ussual, after library, around 6 p.m., we always head out to kedai "50 sen" near Jusco.
The food is undeniably nice and cheap. But, most of us(me, Lin and Ashe) were getting sick of it. Everyday the same old bee hoon soup.
Out of the blue, Ashe had an idea to take us to Tehel, on the way to Jasin via Bukit Katil(pass JPJ). It was a long drive. The roads were single carriage lanes and windy. The road goes through the Guthrie estate(palm oil plantation).
In 20 minutes, we were at our destination. It is located at the bend of the road. U know those selekoh merbahaya kind of roads. I drove slowly into the vacant land beside the gerai.
Interestingly, the owner, looks like from Middle East. She and her children that is look from the east. Her hubby could be a Malay bloke.
At the table was 4 periuks of curry with roti jala by the side. Behind that was a pan where the lady was busy making capati.
We started ordering. Actually, Ashe did the ordering for us, cause we bit jakun in this unfamilliar place. Hehe! Ashe and Adrian have been going there for a while so the people kinda know them.
The food arives. Looks simple but when u bite into it and dip it with the kuah, it's just gorgeous. Yummy! The roti jala and the capati was superb! Can say as good as how the Indians make it. I and Nurul got a drumstick each so were quite contented... heheh!
The price was not so bad, being a person who is very cautious of prices. I wonder who? Hehe! I think me and Nurul's meal only came out to RM7 including the teh 'o' ais.
It was really great and certainly thankful to Ashe for showing us a new spot to eat. Yes, it may seem a lil out of the way, but it was fun! First time being to that part of Malacca honestly.
On the way back, everyone was quiet in my car. All were contented with the meal and stuffed! I did not say much so Nurul kept on bugging me and telling me how bloated my tummy was. Hehe! Hey, I enjoyed the food what can I say.
So if anyone of you interested in something different than the normal routine meals at Bukit Beruang or somewhere near to it, just contact us. If we are free and have enough petrol, we'll take u there.
Cheers! Happy studying and good luck for finals! Remember u dun have to be an Einstein, it's the effort that counts! =)

Nigel Samson... May you rest in peace and pray for us here...
Last Friday when I called my mum, she told me that she and my dad got a invitation to commemorate the death of my good friend Nigel Samson at his dad's place at Taman Berjaya, Pulau Tikus. At once when I heard they were invited I told them to go on behalf of me. It's a year since he left us and yet I still am heavy hearted to visit his grave at Western Road Catholic Cemetery.
I got to know Nigel through church. He was a Serani like me but a little older than me by 16 years. He was like a senior in church mixxing with all the gorgeous looking Serani chicks I remember on Sundays. Also, another Xaverian (if not mistaken) and could be during the times of the later Brother Cashmir.
At weddings, he participated either at being the decorator or just joining in the choir singing joyful songs people sing during weddings.
Finally, early last year around Januray, I went clubbing with my childhood friend Bennett Lowe to Lush. There was only two of us while Nigel was there with his gang ( a large one that is). He came up to Bennett and chatted before I was introduced to Nigel Samson by Bennett. It was a moment of "Wow!" because Nigel was really a famous guy in kampung Serani at Pulau Tikus. He was soo friendly and as ussual cheeky poking me at my sides with his finger.
We lost contact for a while before I started meeting him again at C'Front(now known as Fever). He was the coordinator for the dancers at the club. Being typical Serani, hardworking and pefection is constantly on his mind. Not long after he became something of like a manager.
That was when he was doing well in life when suddenly his life ended. I still dunno why it happen to him and I dun really wanna know cause I lost a friend. Someone that I never knew for long, but during that short span of time we became good friends. I told him we click cause our fathers did click too(they are good friends till today even after 60years).
Nigel was murdered at Bayan Lepas( near the Penang airport). He was tied up and thrown into the river near the factories. His body was found a few days later.
I got a SMS from Jeremy Gomez of Penang and I was sooo damn shocked. I called up my friend, Tengku Nish, in Penang and she was also so sad by the story. So was I... nothing we could have done.
I could not attend his funeral but only read and looked at his photos in the Malay Mail. My parents were in KL at the time so neither of us could make it.
I learnt a lesson in life. Do what u want to do now before it's too late. Time will never come again. Nigel will never be drinking and fagging with me again. God bless you Nigel. Hope to meet you someday in God's kingdom. We can party like there's no tommorrow... heheh! Miss you bro!

Busy week!
Ouch... this week is certainly hectic. Exam on Wednesday! Computer Networks. The Checksum calculation is really killing me... depending on Azzuhry to teach me a thing or two. Thanks bro. Always can count on u! Then there's this lab test for Theory of Computing I am a bit worried about... haven't learnt much about this test in the classes. Dunno what's coming out but hoping for the best! So plan to learn it up with Ashe or Eddy. Dun worry... I'll teach u guys lar if I know anything!
This 23rd my driving license expires. Went just now to the photographer near my house(The Kodak Shop) to get instant pictures. I am not the waiting type... heheh! Somemore the date is drawing near so wanna get it done as soon as possible. Probably opt for the 2 year license. Less hassle I guess coz if not have to renew again next year.
Wow, turning another year older this year. The time of the year when I look back and think of what I've been through this year. Erm... I am not the regretting type of person so just gonna say it was 'ok'. Met a girl who I treasure dearly, got an MP3 player finally in my car after saving up, powered sunglasses(never wore sunglasses for the past 10 years!) and not forgetting the family and friends who have been there for me! Thanks guys! Looking forward to a better year and tackling those challenges at the tip of my fingers! Bring erm on! Optimism works for me... heheh!
Guys out there! Get ur hands on FHM this months issue. It's getting better seriously. From articles on how to dump ur gf to fashion tips! I am learning so much. And not forgetting those bar room jokes and those true stories! Are they for real? I got the magazine to fill the boring moments when I am too stressed out to study... hahah!
The Shiavo case on the internet really touched me. I mean I dunno what to decide. To remove the tube that has kept her living for the past 10 years or to retain it. She's still living but I can imagine the agony she's going trough. How can she suffer? But at the same time, she's alive! How can someone just pull the plug? Oh well, an interesting story in the U.S. that the decision to proceed now is in the hands of the higher courts. Let's pray for this person who is suffering in this state. Thank God to for the life we have. Though it may seem problematic but remember what this nice lady is going through...

My First Blog!
Hey people... Oh my God. Can you imagine me suddenly creating my own blog and posting. Well, it striked me that is kinda interesting to tell your friends and family about what's going on in your life. Yeah, most of us are geographically separated so find this the best way to inform people. I hope I do improve my grammar though with this new activity of blogging. I find that by posting we really try to use words and make use of the English grammar. Of course we don't use this words in our daily life but hey this is our chance here at blogspot.com ... Let us be Shakesphere..... muahhahahaha!
Adoi.... I am like so busy studying for finals which is on the early weeks of April. This is exactly what I am gonna do this weekend people. Yup, just round the corner... The hardest is Theory of Computing... Very conceptual and a thinking subject rather than Computer Networks and Resource. No excuse to think less of these latter subjects. They are equally as hard... Trust me... I am in MMU!
Everyone's been talking about the new Malaysian production movie Sepet. Sadly it's release is rather limited here as Malacca does not show it. I am sure other states like KL and Penang have it. Then the roadside 'VCD boys' also dun seem to have them in their selection. Oh well, hope I bump into it sooner or later. Heard reviews of it so that what spurred me in my search for this movie.
